We are veterans of a few
house purchases and sales in various price ranges. Along the way,
we've had the pleasure of working with outstanding realtors. Among
them, however, Kathy MacDuff stands in a class of her own.
Kathy's chief virtues are
her knowledge, intelligence, persistence, dignity and integrity.
We found that she had the broad market knowledge to lead us immediately
to the narrow range of homes that ultimately proved right for
us. She had the intelligence to avoid the distraction of minor
annoyance and detail and guide all parties where they needed to
go, while serving as a smart negotiator for her own client. She
had the persistence to guide obstinate buyers and sellers to the
sale that in retrospect was in fact in the interests of all. She
had the dignity to avoid any hint of salesmanship or persuasion.
Finally, she had the integrity, at several turns, to appeal to
her clients' good judgment, even when it ran counter to her own
financial interests. Two days after we made our home purchase,
an extremely attractive alternative property came on the market.
How did we know? Kathy called to tell us.
What is most remarkable
about Kathy is that she is chiefly determined to do all she can
not to close deals, but to help her clients make the right move.
For all these things we are indebted to her, and most enthusiastically
recommend her to others.
